Open Gate and Guide Cattle

What happens here

Once the electric fence is active and the gate is prepared, open the gate to the new pasture. Position yourself strategically to control the cattle's entry. Often, cattle will be very eager to access fresh grass, so it's important to manage their enthusiasm to prevent them from rushing or stampeding. Use calm but firm commands and body language to guide them through the opening in an orderly fashion. Ensure all cattle pass through the gate before proceeding to close it.

Goal: The farmer opens the gate to the new pasture and carefully manages the flow of the eager cattle, preventing a 'bum rush' and guiding them smoothly into their fresh grazing area.
