Scraping and Smoothing Down Flakes

What happens here

With a long-handled floor scraper or a sturdy squeegee, aggressively scrape the entire surface of the flake-covered floor. This action is performed to 'knock down' any decorative flakes that are standing on edge or protruding vertically, which could create an uneven or rough texture. The goal is to create a smoother, more level profile for the subsequent clear coats.

Goal: Flatten and smooth the flake surface for optimal adhesion and finish.
