Things Don't Always Go As Planned!

and we're live all right well I just thought I would uh do a live stream jump on in here and um just talk for a little bit it's been a kind of a crazy crappy week honestly um it's life all right this is I don't know what it is it's just you know when things just don't go right like it's a bummer dude any time that you get okay let me tell you anytime you start shooting videos and you just it fail point after fail point or your neighbor turns on the vacuum like and you're right in the middle of shooting something it is a bummer dude it makes my head hurt and so I've actually had two videos fail this week and I just gave up I just said whatever man I you know I thought the one actually would be an awesome video and you know what let me grab this thing and show you real quick oh gosh so let's just show you I just show you a bunch of plumber's crack um this right here is actually a it's like for indoors inside of a closet right well they actually had this on the outside of my house I've been meaning to change this for a while and I did and I really wanted to shoot a video on it but I just it didn't work man so I'm gonna have to freaking rig something up at some point and we'll do something a little bit different hey what's up who's your helpers what's up Philip the wise um hope you guys have been well I know I haven't done a live stream in a while so and I've also went down to shooting one video a week in one reel a week right like I said I usually put out a video every Saturday I couldn't do it today I am just exhausted oh high peak homes Sean in the house Sean sent me an awesome hoodie which I have tried on and I really I love it um thank you so much Sean Sean Sean Jason over who's always these guys got great channels man like you should check them out Sean I was just my brother is in Antarctica right now um he's a carpenter and I was just talking to him about you and I said you know what Gary you should when you're done there you should go hang out up at Sean's place and do some work with high peak homes and I think he could help you out in the uh the video Department as well so I don't know I mean I just you know put a bug in his ear I thought he might like that I think you might like that uh my brother's another one of those meticulous dudes much like yourself I think um Thomas Crone will stop working so hard dude I'm gonna tell you man full-time job with the torn rotator cuff and and trying to do YouTube and like hanging out with my kids and not wanting to miss a soccer practice things that nature you're absolutely right dude like working too hard in some ways um but we do what we got to do man they and that's I don't know I guess that's just the way I look at it so I'm just trying to do something I love helping people I never could have dreamed that this would be what it is but it is and it's been great um and the kids and the kids dude you're so right and the kids the kids ran you got it you got to stay up with that you know um Logan Logan fix it man he just scored his first goal last weekend and actually soccer got canceled today too because the other thing is the air quality up here in Washington like especially in the Seattle area has been horrible and we're talking I don't know if you know about like the the air quality index or whatever but we're looking at like 168 today which is pretty gnarly man it's it's actually and that and I I have some allergies and I'm allergic to trees apparently I don't know how you become allergic to trees with certain trees like really trigger me and then all the smoke in the air I've just been jacked up man um thank you Carl Carlson loves the videos um yeah oh yeah Phil it's been crazy dude like really pretty high my wife actually she drove like almost an hour down south today to take the kids out on the mountain bikes just because she just wanted to get away and like really needed to get out and I I get it and I mean I just was outside working a little bit like I said I fixed that light and I'm like man started shooting a video I'm like right because they they didn't they didn't actually put a box in to mount the light they just had this right here with a little hole and drilled sticking out and I'm like man this is such a great video and I just couldn't wrap my mind around any of it and I'm just I'm in pain and my eyes hurt apparently when you get old like your eyes start going bad never had a problem forever like actually the last time I went to the doctor they said I had like 20 to like 2010 or something 2015 like really I've got great vision that way but the other day I was trying to read like how much sodium was in a can of V8 and I'm like you know I couldn't read it and then I went and I grabbed some safety glasses that had like the readers on them and I was like oh my gosh my eyes are bad like this is so crazy I I just I guess I didn't know I wonder why my eye's been hurt me so bad and because my arms all jacked up I've took a new job at work where I um hand out jobs and I order parts and so that that's better for me like in the physical aspect but like my eyes have been killing me being in front of the computer all the time right and so um yeah I feel got glasses at 36. um uh k-clap big fan Brian hey thank you that's awesome that's awesome man hey owning a home and especially a new home like hopefully some of this stuff will work and man I swear I've got a list man I don't even know it's it's probably a hundred or plus more videos long at this point that I would love to do and just like just to help out new homeowners and new consumers into markets like when you're buying stuff I've got great ideas I just need time to execute and I'm relaxing but I don't know when that happens okay I also for all you guys on both YouTube and Facebook like because I I've I've definitely started to get a little bit of a Following over on Facebook as well now and I I want to do something big and special and I'm gonna do it both on YouTube and Facebook for both um followers on each one I'm not going to do a together mix I just want to do it um for YouTube Peeps and for Facebook peeps so if you are not following one on the other I know it's all like the same content um but it really there is a a big difference of people watching from one to the other I want to do another big giveaway all right because this is all about like you guys and helping people out and I want to give out some cool tools and like maybe give out some gift cards and different stuff to just to try to help people out I try to do that at 20 000. don't think this but I don't think this live stream is like a a sob story either all right I wanted to do that but then I had my gallbladder removed right and that kind of put a damper on everything and it like it took me down for a while and then I mean I've been dealing with the shoulder regardless and then just over time it got worse um because if anybody's ever had a cortisone shot man let me tell you they're awesome but it's not a long-term fix and my doctor you're only allowed to have so many and my doctor said you're cut off um because I can tell you you work right through that stuff okay um but I do I want to have big celebrations right because we we're already at thirty thousand I wanted to do a twenty thousand celebration for YouTube we're already at 30 000 for that and I mean I wouldn't be here without people watching it and helping people out and stuff and I don't know I just like to share tools that I buy and hook up to I think it would be awesome and I think other people will like it as well and so we will do that um the other is then Facebook I I don't know what happened but it ended up kind of going and it's got like 15 000 subscribers and I've helped a lot of people over there as well and I'm I love that dude I'll take some can I picks pliers says Scott yes yes awesome dude I I think I will happily do that um you know I found my little six inch can I pegs I wish I had them in here they're actually out in the garage I was using them a little bit ago um but you know I bought these because um you guys know who Wrangler star is like I was watching one of his videos and he said oh these are way better like he commented to me and said oh these are way better than your 420 channel locks you use all the time I'm like I don't know some instances they are they're a cool plier but man I still go to those little those little uh I think they're 426s all the time right I I like those things hey the other but that being said I just saw that on Amazon that they they were on like Prime Day deals or something and I was like oh man I maybe I need to buy some of those for some people maybe I will buy it you're right Scott that's a good call they will buy a couple sets and give those away as a top prize oh Steve Sproul in the house dude uh awesome Steve says he uses the screwdriver all the time that I sent him so he won a screwdriver in the last giveaway and I can tell you I have become a big fan so I use this screwdriver forever these channel lock ones with the big grip I use these all the time but I can tell you Steve that other professional channel lock one the bait in the USA one not this particular one with the um not the acrylic but the uh acetate handle like I love that thing honestly it is it's good they're good like very awesome um and so maybe we'll do some more of those too and that being said kind of crazy how price of tools has increased with that right those screwdrivers I used to be able to buy them all day long for 10 bucks a piece and I think now they're like 15 something right um yeah so that's good um let's uh Jake says he says that's why I stopped cortisone shots for football players is because they feel great uh yeah to finish the game dude it totally is true man I it they are awesome but you do not it is not a long-term situation right and then what do you do for pain management like I really don't I I don't sleep my latest thing is so crazy too I I don't know if any of you ever had this happen I was sleeping really good but I guess I was sleeping in a weird position with my arm cocked some way and it popped out of socket and that wasn't the big part the big part was it was one o'clock in the morning and when I went to roll back over that thing popped back in and man I was awake um and I was awake for a long time after that and it still kind of hurts really bad at this point so I'm just doing what I can right and try to manage it with uh ibuprofen or Tylenol but when you when you see a bottle like this go down to nothing and not a big period of time at all I know that's not good for you either so surgery scheduled we're making it happen um I purposefully tried to give myself a month um a month before surgery that way I can still consistently try to put out a reel in a video and then I can also stockpile videos and potentially get enough video that I cannot have to shoot a video for 12 weeks because it tells me I'll be in a sling won't be able to move my arm sorry for three weeks at six weeks I'll I guess uh um at that three week Mark maybe I might be able to start moving it a little bit six weeks I'm actually able to start going and um doing physical therapy and then maybe by 12 I could be back to doing some form of light duty type work right so um oh man uh blew both of it Sean said he blew both of us rotators in Antarctica dude oh man that is bro yeah it it's not good man and I you know I tried this I guess it's experimental I mean whatever it um PRP which the only thing I understand about it is they they draw some blood they put it in a centrifuge they spin out whatever and they keep the good properties the healing properties and then they inject it back into the arm I can tell you that shot going back into my arm I don't know if you hit my physical therapist said they probably hit a motor nerve it wrecked me right my arm I couldn't barely move it for three days like it was super jacked up um the doctor did say that he did see some healing but not in the top portion of the tear where the big hole is that honestly is probably causing a majority of the pain so it's just it's just what it is and like I know that I don't take care of my body as much as I should and I've I've learned that over this last little bit of physical therapy I mean I've I haven't seen them for a little while but I've just been continuing down this track because they tell me if the stronger I can make it the better off I'm going to be when it comes to the muscle atrophy and the movement and all that stuff so just try to do what I can there oh try turmeric turmeric for um for the anti are for the inflammation okay no no that's a good call thank you and yeah and what are the odds of hitting that dude I don't know what the odds of hitting that nerd were but I'm going to tell you like it was like instantly almost dead and I like dude took me down down um Carl what's your favorite kind of pizza oh man you know that's a that's a hard question dude um I guess you know in some ways it almost depends where I'm at um I guess I really I like meatballs dude I could really you know up in New York like that was the first place I ever had meatball on my pizza and I really liked it um and I've since and tried a lot of other places but yeah um uh purely CBD brand is a great choice okay you know I've never really thought about that about a CBD topical cream but you're probably right man I mean I I think that I've tried something um somebody hooked me up with something like some kind of dragon something and it seemed like it was okay but man all right well k-class says Chicago deep dish man I've had some good Chicago I'm not it's it's too much for me man it's too much it is it's just a bit man I um you know honestly I think if I could have it anyway I like a thin crust pizza um you know like a mod I don't know if you guys have ever been to mod like it's one of my favorite places it's one place that my wife and I if we ever go out um for an anniversary or dinner or something we just kind of go cheap and easy and we go to mod because it's pretty rare that they mess up a pizza that you can pick what you want to put on it right it's I mean they can only just burn the bottom or something other than that like I I like that there's a specific Pizza that I really like there that I get every single time and it might be weird it's got a little bit of barbecue sauce a little bit of pesto um but I don't know it's good um trust me I've seen it work wonders okay oh dude hey Phillip I'll happily dude I won't hit you up yeah that's awesome dude I you know I've tried Tiger Balm too I mean that stuff it I like the smell too it it it seems like it's worked a little bit for me here or there but I don't know man um I did reach out to an I did reach out to another company um one of the things when I was doing physical therapy they have the uh what is it it's like an ice pack an ice machine or a water machine that you put this thing on and it circulates cold water through the whole time or ice water well this particular one the game ready it has compression and um and the cold and so it really just kind of gives it a little bit of a massage while it's doing it dude that has been awesome for me and I really I'm gonna try to I reached out to those guys I want to see if I can at least rent one of those or something for the time being because man I I'm obviously I'm nervous right I'm a little bit scared um you know I've talked to the lady that that handles a lot of the claims for the company that I work for and you know she's got guys that are on their second and third surgeries and things that nature and the other part of that is is everybody I've talked to has kind of said hey when you're after you're done with this like you don't want to go back to doing what you're doing right you don't want to go back to doing a bunch of overhead work and doing all this big work above your head like that's not going to be that good for you so you know you're potentially going to jack yourself up again and I'm like well I don't know I mean I we'll see um I really loved by the so Jake says Jake's settling says I really uh live by the icy hot No Mess the roll-on right after a hot shower in the morning concentrate right on the area okay no that's good dude that's good to know um not crispy crust for me okay a little like a little more dough there I like it oh thin but soft yeah no no and that's I like you're right I like thin but soft I don't want it crispy right but I I certainly I don't know I could live without all the dough too um I will say that I went and had a pie in in uh in Brooklyn one time at Grimaldi's and that that was good pizza man it's good that's good um gotta hit me up I will dude yeah I will I'll hit you up on Facebook Thank You Phillip for coming hanging out for a little bit I thank you all everybody for coming and kicking it you know I just wanted to just let you guys know what I've been up to like what it's you know this is real like it's real dude I I just I've seen videos to help people out I show you that it's there's always some kind of something going on right it never goes as smooth as what some videos show you it does like it just doesn't happen even when you're just trying to shoot a regular video it doesn't work out that way yeah it just doesn't um and I don't know I hope everybody likes that I mean it seems like it's been working some reason even though it's all icy hot um some reason stronger than all the rest okay I will I'll check that back uh it's time to step back and just tell other people you know Steve you might be right about that it might be time I think it might be time to step back a little bit and you know I'm starting to think that I would really like to be a full-time YouTuber I mean obviously the money situation is not there and I really need benefits so I don't know that I can ever do that but my wife and I really have been talking about us maybe you know doing something else maybe moving somewhere else stepping into a different kind of a role that would just allow me to do this a little bit you know easier and I don't know it's fun man and like I said I've got some bigger stuff that I would like to do but in order to do that you just need time right um I do have an awesome I think I've been saying it for too long at this point I have an awesome video that I'm working on right now that I hate stopping and starting projects because it's really hard especially when you're shooting video and you have to do a bunch of other work around that stuff but I've been making a a going away gift for one of my buddies that retired that was a plumber and I mean I think you guys are gonna love this thing right so it's an awesome lamp and I think it's going to be super slick when it comes out and I am going to have it out before I'm gonna try to really have this video out before I'm done um before I go out on surgery time off or whatever and then when I do I'll be I think I'll be doing more live streams I think that it would be fun to be able to just get in here and chat and maybe take some calls and questions you know I get a lot of questions on over on Facebook I mean I get a lot of questions on YouTube as well but I get a lot of pictures and stuff and we're able to help a lot of people and maybe we could help more people in that time being down I think that would be it'd be a good time to do that um [Music] jobs can do it anyone can yeah you're right I think that was his pitch come on man if I could do it you can do it like sure um wait what's new air duct tape is it okay to use Flex Seal dude I've used Flex Seal um I'm not sure what you were wanting to use it on though but I've totally used Flex Seal um oh Shane's surgery oh dude what up heat Trace oh man Shane was a guy that I was with in Antarctica as well um we did a punchless project for the new Power Plant and that was an awesome man it's great like there's…
