These Gourds will KEEP MOSQUITOS AWAY NATURALLY!

What happens here

Select an appropriate size hole saw for the bird species you intend to attract. For purple martins, a 2 1/4 inch hole saw is used. The presenter demonstrates using a Bosch multi-blade hole saw kit. Secure the selected hole saw bit onto a cordless drill. Identify the 'bulged out' side of the gourd for the entrance hole. Position the drill at a slight downward angle, just slightly tilted from perpendicular to the gourd's surface, to prevent rain from entering the birdhouse. Carefully begin drilling, applying gentle pressure as the gourd is fragile. Once the main entrance hole is drilled, use a smaller 1/4 inch drill bit to create a hole at the top of the gourd for hanging. Ensure this hole is drilled straight through the top to allow the gourd to hang securely.

Goal: This step involves carefully drilling the main entrance hole for the birds and a smaller hole at the top for hanging, ensuring proper placement and preventing damage to the gourd.
