Initial Assessment and On-Foot Herding Attempt

What happens here

The farmer begins by observing the general movement of the cattle herd, noting that most are heading in the desired direction. He expresses initial optimism that they will pass through the gate without intervention. However, he quickly identifies a young calf that has strayed from the main group and is not moving towards the gate. He prepares to manually herd this calf, commenting on the intelligence of cows and the need for persistence in farm work, indicating he will get his exercise by chasing it.

Goal: Observe cattle movement and attempt to herd stragglers on foot.
