Compact the Asphalt Binder Layer

What happens here

Immediately after the asphalt binder layer has been laid, use a vibratory asphalt roller to compact the hot material. The roller applies pressure and vibration to achieve the required density and smooth the surface. Water is sprayed onto the roller drums to prevent the hot asphalt from sticking. Multiple passes are made in a systematic pattern to ensure uniform compaction across the entire paved area.

Goal: Achieve proper density and initial smoothness for the binder layer
