Execute Demolition of Unsafe Retaining Wall and Stairs
At 0:00 in
The interior of houses aren’t the only thing that require renovation. This was a safety hazard.
What happens here
With the plan in place, proceed with the demolition of the identified unsafe structures. Utilize a mini excavator to carefully remove the soil and debris surrounding the leaning concrete block retaining wall and the wooden stair structures. The excavator's bucket is the primary tool for pulling apart and digging out the old materials, including any temporary 2x4 supports that were holding the wall. Operate the machinery with precision to avoid damaging the house foundation or any adjacent structures. Ensure the area is clear of personnel and any hidden utilities have been marked before digging. The objective is to clear the area down to the desired grade, preparing the ground for the new patio and staircase installation.
Goal: Remove all old, unsafe concrete and wooden structures.
