picture is really bad it's what we keep hearing we're saying really whatever that's what that's what they're saying monster only with non sponsors we're working on it we have technical difficulties there's five bucks you get with it you given a picture of John you know if you if you really care I mean do who really wants a picture of John anyway if you do I don't worry so the picture looks good I'm not sighs that's good here you know and this is what cuz well it's not like I can understand cuz Wi-Fi is really bad my phone cuz we're right by a tower but it all with the diamond does it mean anything yeah because we could hook the cables Ryan's been sold it c'mon it's your money Mike come on be chip on the Ichiban you mellow guitar rafidhi danny gonzalez one question can you paint with a gray coat mark or the mark for my price like over knew those are the big old huge units in this so those are light with what yeah um yeah you can paint with them those things are made for like pushing like heavy heavy coatings yeah that's kind of like hunting squirrels with a suka yeah there we go I'm not a big gun guy for dusting and dynamite yeah but you can do it you don't get the job done it will so I mean if you want if you're going to spray super heavy coatings or laughs here's a question for you follow-up question here we go if you had to choose between having the mark 4 or a 440 oh there's no question you always go with the bigger bazooka job yeah there's I dig that mark yeah the big old beast it'd be hard to get in and out of the band but grant chase with this was for those are not cheap that are expensive yeah he what he shapes with it actually is it a mnemonic is it is my my mock their mock and they're gonna mock fors later they are mark force any mark you know here's an interesting trivia that maybe you've never known you don't know everything about me but I've never shaved with a razor once in my life like a se Aiye regular razor really like I've never once my life I from the day I started shaving which was way late in my life because once again like the other leg show I mean still haven't kept you Bertie yet but I've always used an electric razor never once did I started using one time with this Iser here's a fun fact I've never used an electric razor there you go so there now you know something about this how was your great go multi finish um where's the purchase where's the purchase question well though I'm is he talking about the that the finished pro that we just used so we use the unfinished pro which to where a certain areas so we used it I shot a whole fireplace mantel with it and I definitely was impressed with the finish that it did it laid out it laid out a better quality finish than on an airless sprayer the set-up time was significantly more than a near-miss rare probably about equivalent to an HVLP I think once you get it dialed in you don't have to thin your products down and once you understand you using the same product doing trim packages it would cut down significantly on the set-up time but there was you know there was a little bit of trial and error versus an airless sprayer you just stick in the paint the way you go with the tip on there there's knock on the learning curve is really short but I think you know for us it's kind of in between and our lesson in HVLP it was great go quality it was a good quality sprayer it is we saw have it yeah yeah yeah I thought it was I don't know I don't know it was good it did what it did what it said it was supposed to do right I guess my thing is would I rather have that or would I rather have a 395 and an HVLP I would rather have a 395 those hpop having no question I mean to me I think when it comes to like spraying a trim package and here's something that you know I think people should know if you're in new constructions I've heard new construction guys using them to spray trim packages I've sprayed you know trim packages for years and years in new construction using an airless sprayer I think it would take twice as long to do a whole trim package literally twice as long with in Harris's tavares that it would an airless and so that's significantly more labor and I think the quality to finish it wouldn't be it'll be noticeable to your eye and my eye but I don't think anybody that moves into that house it would be noticeable to any of those people that move into that brand new home right so but you just spent twice as I'm doing it twice as long doing it and I think you're gonna in levy the cost is quite a bit more isn't it then yeah 24 to 2,600 bucks yeah I mean on so you really you really could buy an HVLP unit and an airless sprayer for about say about the same yeah yep I won 15k at the Derby funny dumb why don't you pay for it now that can't be serious I don't know how you prove that yeah how do you prove that 15,000 well done I mean maybe that's why Austria I don't get the horse racing thing but I lost 200 so um if Danny gave us some inside information and like you're kind of like this stock and insider and professionally some horses and stuff for that's not illegal but I lost but I was doing like complicated bets and stuff like that I wasn't kind of win $20 well I mean I was trying to win 15,000 I didn't 15,000 that's pretty good Stuart Mackenzie says his finish fine finished pro works awesome on trim he actually just make sure the photo of his 595 finish pro not this whoa I'll bet that's heavy I thought that 395 one was Olivia but that's the 595 with the compressor from like an H go be compressor on it cool give it away Jake says oh yeah that 15,000 I mean he can donate 10% of that to the paint life community and or maybe you saying we should give away the finish crow look Andrew says he fed a horse and a ones so I horses freaked me out I got a story I got I got lots of stories but sorry I wouldn't bet I mean I wouldn't bet on the horses and stuff and I keep my distance from horses because I literally still have nightmares about horses to this day and this is a childhood thing I was like on a horse yeah I think I'm did ever tell you I was going down the hill on the horse and I fell off the saddle and the horse drugged me on my face and on the dirt and it did a lot of damage to my face and maybe that's why I can't grow a beard or anything yeah maybe all the scar tissue any animal you can train to trample someone to death I'm not game with that but it'll turn on there but I mean just the horse if he bites you you can bite your hand off literally so um let's see do you guys get the job before flag the flag roof Oh something no you should that I shared it last week so what we did this I don't arm so Ryan's asking if we got so I bid this gigantic barn and it's up in McCall and it's you know this huge barn and you can see the whole roof and these people wanted an American flag painted on the whole side of that are on the whole roof and so you would drive by on the major highway and you would see that American fine it would been a super cool project it really cool short on posted on social media and show the whole process what people don't understand is what goes into doing something like that that's an that's an incredibly difficult project for instance here's just a friend since the I mean the part where the stars is this would be gigantic how do you get a star in place individually painted and on and how do you paint this rough and make it last for more than two years and how do you get those stripes on a corrugated roof to be straight and how do you get on that rough could you can't walk on the rough it's literally it was like the steep rough and and just the lift itself was gonna cost probably $1,500 for the lift and then we're probably that the product was probably to be around 1,500 for the product so you got three thousand right there I've been it for $6,000 to do the flag which was not even and was not gonna because it's a freebie it was a freebie because we wanted the honor of saying that we wanted that flag and it would be up there for years and years years to come and the people thought it was too much money and so they didn't accept the bid so we didn't get it so yeah we were gonna like put it out on social media and ask people how would we go about doing this because it's not like you can take a projector and you can still tell us how you were doing but it's just not gonna go anywhere yeah so um I broke my back at Pimlico still getting horn hey we got a new sponsor Mac Miller Miller million dollars and this well familiar Miller to me I would say that's Miller miler but is that German Miller I'll bet he's from Minnesota Minnesota know why but I just feel like that's Mac where are you from Mac Miller I'm gonna say he's from South Dakota sounds coda yes sir he says he's a sponsored he's greens probably why do you do so love the Kentucky Derby any Teutons on did she sent the pants on hey Jenny tootin thanks to her for during the pants on we would like to see the Milwaukee Wisconsin you're wrong I was close was I closer mm-hmm I don't think so I should Minnesota know this concept I think they're buddies so I'm actively so the pants the pants showed up the Traveling Pants are on their way to the next journey in XC paner has posted on posted photos of themself and so in there and now I think Lisa was gonna post because they're staying in here's something for all the sponsors the they're staying in the sponsor community in the paint like mafia they're paint like mafia is the only people that can get the payouts so lease is supposed to be notifying EXCI painter who the next person is I don't know if she did or not but maybe that is above our pay grade I went fishing today Daniels on Daniel glad to see you on second time ever going fishing does that what he just said yeah wow that's second time ever we love fishing look John and I are fishermen jake has a good question it's raining the jake has a good question we cow how do you deal with a customer that tries to barter your price like a used car well that's a good question because um in the beginning my career I I would you know negotiate pricing because I needed the work and obviously if you don't have the work and you need the work you have to pay your house maybe you have to pay your bills you gotta put food on your table we eventually built our business to the point where you know supply and then we have so much work I'm we're turning down work all the time we got to play where we did not negotiate prices anymore we would just tell the people your price is our price but what's really weird is we are booked out like really far and two people contacted me and they contacted me and asked it in a respectful manner if we would lower our price and be willing to do it for I think the price time one of the houses was $3,800 they said would you be willing to do it for 35 I said yeah there's like right next to when we're painting right now and this kind of can be his like right out our back door basically it's up and there was another one that guy even asked for quite a bit more or less and he was he follows us on YouTube and I'm like you know what he's watching Issa protests and follows us and yeah and so I said yeah which is something I haven't done for years I don't know maybe I'm becoming a soft need so knows but you have to just take it you can throw your in your two cents it's just you have to take it a case-by-case basis and whether you're booked out if you're booked out you know for a while why would you like like you said there's a difference between a customer who respectfully asks and is really looking to work something versus a customer who is just nickel and diming you because that's I have a certain customer in mind that I'm thinking I'll but I shouldn't go there because it yeah because I think some of it is is talking to the customer in getting that feeling from the customer whether they're just trying to you know they can afford to pay the price you offered but they're just trying to nickel and dime you down to get you know a cheaper price from you just for getting a cheaper price and and you know and so sometimes you know that you can just get a feeling from you do they do they want a high-quality paint job and are they willing to pay you but they're just respectfully passing or or do it is this really their budget and they really want a high quality paint job they want you to do it because they believe in you on they believe in your reputation but this is all they can afford right now I think there's you just have to take it a case-by-case basis Lance's wall art is pretending to be Andrew and asking a riddle and I figured this one out without knowing it before what appears between here and there but disappears between there and here boy I mean that's like who's this one you probably have more of a mind for this kind of stuff cuz that Ana stuff it just scrambles my brain like instantly my teeth my teeth the letter T is in between so it asked the question again so yeah it's easier if you read it where's it at I go back up what appears between here and there but disappears between there and here oh man I digress been anywhere you can pick up on that stuff that's crazy uh mafia George Kumar Z is on DNA paintings on Jake starlings on I'm winning like three out of five jobs not bartering price three out of five ain't bad that is sixty percent that's really this rate is uh that's nothing Jake want to guess that if you got a close rate like that there's absolutely no reason why you would ever want to negotiate prices no tsuita partner there's no need to so stories your prices if the client is looking for a budget number then provide that use the word budget versus estimate so in that um get some kind of a topic sometimes when people will get on that conversation I try to you know tactfully um you know work myself to that if they're if they have a budget I all you know ask them you know you know I mean what is too high I mean what would be too high the banner where would be you would you think this would be extremely low or do you think this is extremely high if somebody gives you their you know the number they tell you if they're basically just bidding against themselves I mean they really should never tell you well my budget is $4,000 because if you were gonna bid it for 3,000 you're probably now kind of it for 4,000 and so they just bid against themselves but sometimes there's been signs of you know a handful of times in my career where I can I needed to get to that point and have a discussion with the customer like that because I didn't want to offend them what too high of a price and and so I didn't so I got out of shock um so I couldn't ask them and try to get to that we do have some dogs cruising around here as you can tell designing Mac Miller wants to know can you go through the setup procedure for HVLP material thinning air pressure dial and gun but I think before we do that we should give something right cause for 20 minutes in let's um you know what I mean yeah I'm kind of like we said we're going so I don't want to give these away okay stud finder a and a om stud finder and Medina's some other things too I will give this to the first person who can tell me what food Chris absolutely cannot stand eating I think we were just talking about it in the Facebook or Instagram thing that we just did so you've got an edge if you were on there for that first person gets one of these bad boys that's when that's when you know you're actually this is an all Dejan just like a studio when you got dogs the Wars going on and there are dogs I asked him what food you don't like eating there's personally guess that oh yeah we got broccoli and Brussels sprouts and hot dogs I mean he was talking about making the dogs and I love Brussels sprouts and I do and I love Brussels sprouts sauteed in butter I love Brussels sprouts I love broccoli do I like them both I may have been too hard well if that would have been a good one for like every you gets the letter the first letter of french toast french toast I'm not a big french toast family and clan is here sour beer so I'm so family man gave me a six-pack of sour beer and my great fun it is so it's very I never gave you one of those did I it's a very odd beer it's really odd timing I wouldn't call it like beer I don't think it's beer but I took them we wouldn't play I told you I wouldn't played softball and so I took them the rest of the six-pack yuck squash on CNN a painting well done lima beans where well they says I'm a beans lima DNA painting you're the winner that works lima beans will literally make me throw up so that's our beer to the baseball game and while we were playing baseball everybody cracked him open started drinking about what was interesting is when the game was over I went to grab all the cans and began to throw them away and they are all like still fall no it's not a great beer if it won't even be drinking in a softball game on no he gave me another beer which was I'm like lycian or something like that which was an IPA I think he said it was I think it's my favorite IPA which was really good I can't remember I'm shy and the thinking was is he can always the sour beer family man what was the sour beer been or not that well name the sour beer what I was called and the the IPA but I really like the other one so Lance as wall art is your people not putting numbers inside of the gutters your might not favorite food sometimes that doesn't happen very often and it might not happen very often because when it does I so just um since life is not here I'm gonna try to make just easy burn her DNA painting woman yeah and DNA pinyin I put the email address on there email us at live show at the - I don't - peanut I'm cold I because we got a…
