this question have you ever tried Kim Aqua Plus for cabinets I have it's a really really good product for cabinets I just use it and the Finish is great but it is very thin and can run it um yeah it's not even it's not an easy product to apply but it works really well it's a it's an awesome product for cabinets any uh any tips uh hopefully you're using a fine finish tip like a 310 tip and you want to use a brand new tip and um pressure is going to be an issue on that too depending on what pressure you're using but the biggest tip is using a brand new fine finish rack X tip when you're spraying the stuff I don't thin it out just use it straight to you got John Burke what's up dude or Diddy or dude New Zealand we got these and popped in the house holy cow we got all kinds of people Denise said for Mother's Day my husband painted one room for me hello Denise for Mother's Day my husband painted one room for that's awesome my wife wanted me to put some floor in in our bedroom and I didn't I did other things let's see is is that your oh so all right we got somebody that noticed somebody did not delete that new in the room what are you talking about who are you talking to are you talking to us or what no so I got um hair we got somebody in the room uh this whole job thing is gets a little overwhelming to me I got so many things to open up so many things to do uh uh and Armando is my helper today so we got Armando and he um he's my assistant today he's got we're gonna be opening up a bunch of packages I got a bunch of stuff coming in I got a giveaway to do Armando's gonna help handling that he is a college baseball player or was a college baseball player and um he's going to be going to medical school so he's my medical advisor and uh he works out so if you got any workout questions or medical questions Armando's your man today so not as much as Chris though so um but we got I got my laptop and you guys can see my laptop set up here uh to the uh Titan spray guide tool I can't get to this is kind of cool just to be able to share information and that's how we learn I still learn stuff new every day when I go to work painting and on here if you got a question and tree trip tree what Chris what are the three best tips that doesn't make for three three best tips to probably three best tips to use probably it's three best airless spray tips I when it comes to spray tips the I there's two spray tips that I keep tons of them and I buy them by the case that we use in our vehicles and uh 515 and then a 310. I could actually do almost all the painting you know uh that I do with a 515 and 310. now you can get some other ones for specialty stuff but if I had the choice of three I'd buy a 515 310 and a 621 those would be the three tips I would carry in my van we've got Seth Dawn have you had success with the Titan spray guide so that uh Titan spray guide is what I just gave away once again I I used it once on an interior doing a garage and I it was about uh 10 minutes that I used it and tried to set it up and get going and um I that was it and so I was having trouble getting it set set up and working and I was in a hurry to get the garage done so I haven't Revisited it to test it out it's in my list of hundreds hundreds of things to test and make videos on so hopefully I can get to that sometime soon um Jonathan Jeff Chris I have a customer that has new and painted cedar shingles on exterior needs to be painted how would you paint it so um we got yeah Jeff Jeff um well where'd that just go Jeff right there right here yeah Jonathan Jeff so you had a question Peyton cedar shingles I was let me show you I was doing singer cedar shingles today let me I got a picture right here I'll show you um and what we were using here's the cedar shingles hopefully you guys can see that that is the um just a small part of the house we are working on today and we were using a product called woodscapes and we were spraying it with a 310 tip and then one guy was spraying it and I was back brushing it with a large stain brush a four inch stain brush and so we were spraying and back brushing the first coat of woodscape solid color stain and then we were going back and spraying a coat over the top of that after it dried and they the things were absolutely torched I wish I had a before picture you know before and they look brand new after we're done and that was and that's what the solid color stain it'd be the same process with a semi-transparent stain so let's see we got um about the giveaways oh um so we got some uh we got some giveaways we got two giveaways again we're gonna be doing tonight um we've got a bunch of we got two things let's see hand me um just that pile of stuff right there so in one of the giveaways uh they're gonna be basically the same but we're gonna be giving away I got a Sherwin Williams T-shirt we're gonna be thrown in there we got one of the top um caulking setups right here with some of the refills I got this this company smart flare sent me a whole bunch of these things they're like 15 bucks on Amazon and they're um an LED light that lights both sides it's the ladder it's pretty interesting it um it charges on a USB but I'm gonna throw in a smart Square I got a whole bunch of people sending me stuff you know a giveaway uh there's gonna be a sleeve of these brush and bowler things uh Pioneer paintbrush Pioneer brush sent me a bunch of paint brushes they're really nice paint brushes uh really nice bristles they got really nice handles so I'm going to be thrown in a brush and then Hyde sent me a bunch more tools and be thrown in a taping knife so we got a couple of those packages we're gonna be giving away um two two tonight and somewhere about middle of the show I'm going to be giving away one of my giveaways and then at the end of the show we'll be doing it again but I got um we can we can get rid of that laptop we're gonna yo hello from Rockwall Texas can you use a fine finish rack X tip with the handheld Graco battery operated air in a sprayer and your thoughts on it so that you can use with the battery operated sprayers they're um they're designed the new fflp tips that just came out those are the um tips you have to use with those sprayers so I've tried using the regular fine finish tips and it's not a good idea the Finish doesn't come out right and it doesn't it throws out a whole bunch of overspray so it's the they're fine finish tips the green tips but they're the fflp tips which are low pressure because those those handheld airless sprayers run at lower pressures than a regular airless sprayer that thing is like they major later I think that's Pioneer brush then some more brushes and stuff so the really cool brushes that we're going to give away I think these are some exterior ones that I'm going to be testing out let's see what um there's just a lot of let's see taught Toby Bridges is on nice um Irvin Garcia hide gooseneck so yeah I um she brought somebody just uh pie gooseneck I gave away some of the high boost snacks I got a giveaway those High goose neck paint brushes are absolutely awesome I don't have one in here but they screw on to the in an extension pole and they Bend they're absolutely amazing love those things I just did a video on them so they're pretty cool um wow that's who asked that question Shane Lee you see shell Shane's got um I painted trim with your methods and pro classic Pro classic is um that's a paint from Sherwin-Williams and as long as I've been painting that's the most difficult paint I've ever sprayed with with an airless sprayer and personally I would never spray with it ever again it's very very difficult to spray and the first time I ever sprayed it was in a new construction job and I'd sprayed for a lot a lot of years got pretty good at spraying and I started spraying Pro classic and I had runs everywhere and I had dry feathers and flashing everywhere it was just an absolute Nightmare and it took me a while to learn about the product and spray and it was just very difficult and even as much as I've sprayed it in the past now I I still run into issues with it and in my personal opinion is I talked to some people from Sherwin-Williams I don't know this for a fact but I believe Pro classic was used or was created for do do it yourself first to brush and so for instance like brushing um window sills and stuff like that because it it levels out lays out really nice and brushes really really well that it does good but it doesn't spray good at all so if you got runs I have a video on how to fix runs and we wet sand the runs we take a sponge that um uh sanding sponge that you we just wet them and then we begin wet sanding them and you got to be really careful you can't go too fast because it'll get too soft and but you got to wet sand them and then we begin smearing Bondo glazing putty over the run and begin sanding that to get rid of it so it's a combination of wet sanding Bondo glazing body priming it and then re-spraying it and we are using proclastic I we actually got really really good at getting rid of runs because we got them all the time so um hi from Minnesota Shane Shad Owen is in the house um I want free stuff oh so next week oh you're running out of time we're giving away the the gray go the color Muse actually I have that um where's that little color Muse I don't know if anybody there's um so it's really cool I haven't shot the video on it it's around here I don't know if any of you have heard the little color Muse and it'll um it has an app that goes on your phone and you put it down and it'll tell you the color and it'll tell you what color it is um of all the of all the paint companies out there it's really really cool it's a little device very well made it's not cheap either and it's in my list of things to make videos on but I tell you I'm like really overwhelmed with all this whoa what they send me so uh they actually so Titan sent a Powertech spray text a hopper right here um that's kind of cool I had no idea so that's probably something I'll be giving away here um in one of my next live videos here pretty soon so it's kind of cool the spray Hopper from Titan um so we'll give that away um I think let's open that box and now they're we're gonna send me some of to it anymore I don't um don't follow up on it and stuff hello from Matthew Phillips he's in Adam coin hello paint junkies um so what uh oh holy cow we got another maximum Elite gun so they sent me so here Titan sent me a maximum Elite gun pressure fed gun so that's an HVLP gun so I'll be giving this away to um in one of my next live shows they sent me that they've I got a whole bunch of their guns that's I use Titan's HVLP guns they're awesome guns so I had I've had a bunch of people ask me here recently can they use the Graco one of these things to paint an automobile or an air in a sprayer to paint an automobile so um you you can but here's the difference between an airless sprayer and an HVLP sprayer is you're going to get hdlp sprayers is what they paint automobiles with with automobile lockers but you're going to get a way way finer finish with an HVLP sprayer than in hair to spare but I knew somebody that painted uh a vehicle with an airless sprayer and used interior trim paint on it and a couple years later it was high gloss trim printing it still looked pretty pretty good it was amazing so um not recommended but it can be done I'm gonna be I got a video I'm gonna be doing here pretty soon where I got a Suburban that I'm going to be painting with chalk paint and it's going to be a pretty cool experiment we're going to paint it with chalk paint take it downtown it's going to have little bins attached to it with chalk and just I'm going to paint the entire Suburban other than the front window and we're gonna see uh what people write on it and so it's going to be cool we're going to take the the Suburban um we're gonna just spray it with it with a HVLP sprayer we're going to use um some bonding primers break some bonding primer on it first and then spray chalk paint black chalk paint so it's gonna be kind of cool see I'm gonna get those get the two guns so Eric britzel thinks he's gonna win um [Music] is that a waste of time stucco on so it's stucco when it comes to back rolling stucco we've been doing quite a few houses this year stucco and I would say um about half the the stucco houses we've backrolled in the other other half we have it so it depends on the condition of the stucco if there's cracks in it if the stucco is in poor condition um then it's um and it depends on the style there's all these different types of styles of Stucco and some of them should be back rolled and some of them it doesn't really matter there's some of them up here that it it doesn't it doesn't make any sense to back roll them but then it some of it depends on the product you're using if there's a lot of cracks and the stock goes in poor condition weathered and it's starting to peel and crumble we use an elastomeric coating and then we typically back roll it but if it's there's this one style of Stucco it's kind of like just this color code that's very smooth and we just use resilience flat paint and we just spray it on pretty heavy and we don't backroll at all so I'd have to actually see the stucco the house to determine whether you know you really need to or not I I never say it's just an absolute wasted…
