so you've created something here I mean what what do we got going on here besides a Star Wars chest plate that's right it's not Batman costume armor right it's uh so what this is a lightweight tool belt system okay so for a lot of guys they've got those $500 suspender rigs or whatever and that's great if you're like a blow andgo three houses a week framer but for the most of the rest of us we're working around finished surfaces we're doing a variety of jobs in the day um and so what happens a lot of guys just leave their Tools around right and then where' my tape measure go and you're going run around and go find it okay that' be me yeah so we are more efficient when we carry our tools but reconfiguring your tool system to carry what you're going to work on today is always a pain right so our system is made to kind of scale up and scale down for the job that you're doing today and we do that by having a variety of of smaller holsters that are all on belt clips so they clip over your either your pants belt or they'll clip onto what we call mod slot which are these little slots here which are on a lot of our gear and allow you to allow you to build up a modular system based on what you're going to do today so we have a a very strong magnet um so this this guy will hold this is a 28 oun framing hammer which no human uses anymore but you get the idea no no human uses this 28 o um uh hold your screws hold your bits stuff like that um we've got a tape measure holster which is here we go bring that over there's a tape measure we got one for holding your your um for for holding your drill you put your drill belt hook in that is that what's holding the tape measure on no the tape measure is actually just on the on the on the mod slot so and then that's that's on there too so multi-functional you can put your pens and stuff in there so again the idea is what am I going to do today I'm going to need a little bag with a couple Tools in it I got to carry my speed square which back there so where did that just come from that came from right right there so you created that too yeah so that's a speed square holster actually the idea came from very old This Old House episode and uh and we kind of improved upon it just slides in there so that's a hammer holder right there there's a hammer sleeve so goes down there that can be reconfigured to be like a a a um tin snips or pliers holster so you got a drill holder yeah well this is this this is kind of cool we always had you know you get those drill holsters you know a pistol is weighted on the top so it fits in a holster a drill is weighted on the back so they fall out right so our our our um driver Master is made to just sit there and grab it like that right easy in Easy out super fast doesn't fall out when you're climbing ladders and things like that so and small you got something on your hat too oh this is a prototype nobody knows about this yet so it's top secret yeah top secret don't put this on social media so oh that's your hat the whole three yep so who's the Mastermind behind all this stuff that's me y That's you yep like are you an engineer I'm a mechanical engineer a mechanical engineer Mak I feel like when you're a kid right you at least at least you know when I was a kid you're either going to go into food service right you're going to go work at Arby's or something or you're going to go into the trades right and so I went into the trades and I've done I've done everything from electrical to you know started out Landscaping right right paint I've done Framing and all that stuff so the holstery where can people buy it holster.com that's holster like gun holster with a y at the end holster.com yep
