What happens here

This project details the process of clearing snow from a parking lot, specifically focusing on a train station area, using both vehicle-mounted snow plows and a walk-behind salt spreader. It emphasizes the crucial safety protocols required when working near active train tracks and demonstrates the practical application of different plowing techniques and equipment for efficient snow removal.

Oh, I forgot my shovel. And I forgot my safety code. So, we actually have to have a spotter. So, as we're doing this, you could see there's a yellow line right there. Actually, you can see the yellow line over there. You can see the yellow line there. We are not allowed to have power equipment over that yellow line, and anytime anybody's working, we have to have one person watching for trains. Actually, that's not that dumb. Cuz the trains whip through here at 80 mph, and it's like a vortex. Suck in. You can feel them. It's just like they come by and you're So, technically, by law, by rights, anytime a train comes, we've got to move to this side of the tracks. Is a train coming? Shovels. We are Yeah. I'll go get shovels. I thought this was the stairs. Where's the shovels at? So, on top of on top of the other rules and regulations, the spotter cannot work. He's not allowed to shovel. He's not allowed to do anything. Right? Yeah, he just has to stand there and watch. And when the spotter gets tired, he has to tap the person on the shoulder and switch. I'm not making fatigue from looking. When your eyes get windblown. And you actually do get sick of just standing there, cuz I was standing there last time and You're like, "Give me a shovel." Give me a shovel. Give me something to do. It drives you nuts. Yeah, I can't watch people work like that. I'm never that kind of person. Oh, you should take the elevator up. Why? What's that? It told us it's terrible to sit there and watch the train go by. But you can work on the other side of the shelter buildings. You just have to be 25 away 25 ft away from the tracks. The workers can work, but the spotters still can't work. Spotters still can't work. If the spotter is a spotter. Hold on to your seats, guys, cuz we've got some plowing action for you right here, baby. Woo! Holy buckets, look at her go. Tim, is that ram going to hold up to this abuse? There's so much snow to hog. Oh my god, look at it build up behind them, you guys. You could almost make a mitten for a snowman out of that snow right there. On a serious note though, if you guys have followed along, we do have uh a new cutting edge on this thing. Look at how crooked she is. Uh that's what happens when you smack a curb at 20 mph with your plow. He's got a broken wing. Timmy's got a broken wing. Timmy's on the phone. He's got it. Imagine that, Timmy's on the phone. All right. He wants the salt truck back over on the other side. So, we can fill up fill the hopper for the sidewalks over there. Send them over here, they can start shoveling. Just hold on to your britches, boys. It's going to get wild right now. Here we go. it's actually really good. I mean, really flat, good contour. Hey! Do you want me to run it so you can watch the contour cuz that's what you were worried about, right? what do you think? Is it touching in the middle? It's doing great. great. Okay. Yeah, I don't see any problems with it. On a serious note, this is a great opportunity to work the kinks out. I always love the one of the first storms of the season being a little tiny baby storm like this. Cuz then you can work all the kinks out without worrying about it. I don't know how you run through that deep of snow so fast, dude. I got to pick my legs up real high. Better warn him about the piles of snow so he doesn't I know you guys are blown away by our plow footage this year. I know it. I know. Hey, you got a radiator leak? I just flushed it. Everything went out the engine. A lot of it came out. I can smell it from here. Yeah, there's some dribbles. Yeah, it's that nose of a bloodhound. I'm telling you I can smell it like I said I can smell a fart five pews away in church. I can smell everything. Blessing and a curse. How much you want to bet Timmy's going to go backwards now? Forward or backward, what do you guys think? Which way is he going to go? He's got his dribble. Is that everything back there? That's everything. You got it. Got all of it? No touchy spots? Nope, you got it. Now you got to get ready your your junk pile. Yeah, I'm going to drag this giant pile over here. All right, so he's going to he's going to he's going to pull it. I was going to guess he would push it. He loves pushing with that thing. Hence why it is crooked. And by the time he gets to where he's putting the snow at there it's not going to be anything left. It's all just dribbling out. Uh that's the thing. Back blades amazing for just hog pile and snow. Not so hot when it comes to clean scraping it. Undercover cops. Right there. Undercover cops. Hey! You better slow down. That's an undercover police officer over there. I think there needs a little adjustment, man. Cuz if you have the wings anywhere forward, it puts all the pressure on the wings. Yeah, I know. I'll tell you right here, it doesn't make a difference. These back claws are never I've never scraped like a front plow ever. All right. Well, that was an interesting thing cuz we were never This was never part of our original Timmy, what are you doing? My wife says I'm starting to look like Pepe Le Pew or Snidely Whiplash. Timmy's riding his plow up on the curb. That's all he's doing. Did you just see where he was riding his plow up on the curb? Hey! You like plowing grass or what? I'm plowing grass right now? No, you were. You plowed half the the snow off the grass into the spot where you're supposed to take the snow out of. What I was saying is our contract terms changed. This was never in our original bid. And neither was that street over there. And it made no sense. No sense whatsoever. Cuz we do all this, and then all the city's going to do is come through in this spot, and I've had multiple contracts like this. They'll come through and they'll plow it, and they'll mess up all of this crap. So, we actually have permission now that we can plow the city street. That one and the one we were practicing cuz it wasn't in part of our deal. And all it's all dad's doing is saving us a lot of headache getting a phone call, "Hey, there's a big giant pile of snow up on the sidewalk after we got our sidewalk salted, shoveled, cleaned up, and good to go. Is that all done in the center? Yeah. Nice. I think it's pretty good. Yep. Oh, now it's on. Oh, wait. TV TV's having a hissy fit. He's going to leave. Oh, he's getting salt on camera. Oh. Oh, poor Jimmy. Oh. Come on, man. Get out of here.
