What happens here

This video demonstrates how to create a robust, waterproof electrical connection using a specialized 'Spli-seal' molding system. It covers crimping wires, encapsulating the connection in a mold, injecting a sealing solvent, and curing, resulting in a durable, sealed joint.

All right, Justin, what are we looking at with this now? So, what we're doing is we're taking our two wires. You're crimping them together. The standard butt connector. You're going to place it in your mold here. We're going to do a one one connection. This mold has a 1 to2 connection as well. You're going to clamp it up. Put your solvent in there. You're going to feel a little back pressure as it starts to fill up. Want to put a little excess cuz as it dries, it's going to shrink. You want it to fill in all the gaps and bubbles. So, that's a 30 seconds. So, as as that's curing, what are we looking at with these molds here? So, what we got going on here is that this is a different mold as your terminal eye connection in case you're attaching it to a frame or whatever kind of wiring project you're working on. Also has your terminal end for say going to a battery or whatever that is. All of these molds come in three different variants of gauges from 10 to 12 and 14 to 16 and then this one is 18 to 22. All right. So, this one should be ready to go. We're going to pop it open. There you go. Pull it out and twist or cut off this excess. You're good to go. Can you pull it apart?
