Position Containers and Prime the Siphon

What happens here

To initiate fluid transfer, ensure the source container (e.g., a large plastic tote filled with blue water) is positioned higher than the destination container (another clear plastic tote). Insert the brass end of the Safety Siphon into the source fluid, ensuring it is fully submerged. Then, vigorously shake the brass end up and down a few times within the fluid. This action will cause the one-way check valve to begin drawing fluid into the hose, self-priming the siphon.

Goal: Initiate the siphoning action to move fluid from the source to the destination.
