What happens here

This video features a Boplan representative explaining their proprietary safety barrier system made from 'Nolene' polymer. The representative highlights the material's ability to absorb impact and eliminate vibration, preventing damage to both the barrier itself and the infrastructure it's anchored to, unlike traditional concrete. He showcases various applications through video demonstrations, including impacts from forklifts and trucks, and explains that the barriers are maintenance-free and do not contain concrete filler.

half. All right, Kevin. What is it we're looking at with this system now? Yeah, so we are both playing USA and this is our polymer called Novolin. It's a proprietary blend where we basically manage energy differently and then we limit eliminate the vibration that occurs. So, it still gets impacted, it vibrates, that vibration goes down to the anchors and over time it pulverizes the concrete. But what also it does is it doesn't absorb an impact. So, all it knows how to do is absorb. So, what we do is we manage that energy differently and then we eliminate that vibration so we can get hit time and time again without needing to be maintained or replaced. So, unlike concrete which will pulverize both the forklift and the material itself, this saves the forklifts. Yes, sir. It saves your assets and it saves your concrete and it will protect your people. So, now as we're looking at these micro hits like this, tell me about that, will you? Yeah, so these will happen 20 times a week that nobody will see and from this impact those vibrations, especially if it's steel, will travel down to the concrete and it will pulverize the anchors that the concrete's in. So, what we do is we manage that energy differently, eliminate that vibration so these can happen time and time again. What is this material made out of that it's handling this material, Kevin? >> It's a polymer, it's called Novolin. They don't let us know exactly how the sausage is made, but it's an oil-based resin that we extrude into these formula little sections here. So, there's no concrete filler inside of these at all? >> No, the only steel that we use is going to be right here at the base plates. Where do you guys find out more information on these things, Kevin? >> You can go to www.bollplan.com or you can reach out to me directly and ask me any questions. We've got regional reps like myself all around the country for your boots on the ground and what we can do is travel to your locations and walk the facilities with you guys and conduct a safety audit to see what we can do. bollplan.com >> Yes, sir. Thank you, sir. >> All right, thanks for stopping through.
