What happens here

This project provides a concise guide on how to perform continuity testing using a multimeter. It demonstrates how to set up the multimeter for continuity, understand what continuity signifies, and then apply this knowledge to test common electrical components such as fuses, switches, and wires to determine if they have an unbroken electrical path.

Here's how to test continuity on a multimeter. Step one, turn it all the way to the speaker sound looking symbol. Now, continuity is the basically the flow of electricity with no breaks in the middle of it. So, here you can hear that beep. Now, what I like to use continuity for is testing fuses. So, this fuse is good. You can see the link in there. And this fuse no beep, not good. So, you can do the same with your switch. Put your two on your switch here. And your switch is on, you can hear the beep. Well, when I turn that switch off, the beep goes away. Switch on, there's a beep. And a wire, obviously, will will sound the beep as well. If there were a break in here, it wouldn't. That's how you test for continuity. I like to use this on fuses most of the time in the car or on my furnace when I can't see or whatever else has fuses, that's a quick way to test it. So, follow for more.
