Initiate Auger Digging

What happens here

With the skid steer and auger in position, carefully lower the auger bit until it makes contact with the ground. Slowly engage the hydraulic controls to begin the auger's rotation. Apply gentle, consistent downward pressure using the skid steer's boom controls. Allow the auger to bore into the soil at a steady pace. The video demonstrates the auger breaking up the soil into fine, workable pieces as it digs.
