Testing the Electric Fence

What happens here

After powering on the fence charger, test the electric fence. The video demonstrates using a spare step-in fence post as a tester: touch the metal spike of the post to the electrified polybraid wire. Listen for an audible 'pop' or use a dedicated fence tester (not shown) to confirm the fence is live. This indicates the fence is successfully electrified and ready to contain the cattle. Adjust any loose sections if the test fails.

Goal: Verify the fence is properly electrified.
