Prepare for Tree Felling with Auger

What happens here

Before felling, the presenter uses a Gehl RT210 skid-steer equipped with an auger attachment to dig a hole close to the base of one of the trees. This technique can be employed to facilitate directional felling by creating a void for the tree to fall into, or to prepare for more efficient stump removal later.

Goal: A skid-steer with an auger attachment is used to dig a pilot hole near one of the trees slated for removal, which can aid in directional felling or stump removal.
