Introduction and Initial Light Fixture Removal

so today we're out here getting ready to whitewash some brick we're going to be painting the exterior and doing this brick so we do got to take off these lights i always remove the lights when doing the exteriors because we always want to paint behind them because you never know when the customer is going to replace the lights so you want to paint behind them i'm going to give you some tips and tricks removing them one so you don't get shocked and another so it's a lot easier when it comes to reinstalling your lights so i'm just going to get up here take these things off i like to have a tool bag with me to have certain tools that make removing the lights a lot easier so one of them is having a wrench with you if the nuts are really tight so this one loosened up really easily there's just a few little nuts or bolts that you're just gonna take off right here to remove this light to get it so it'll come off now the light will suspend and hang right there just like that i don't want to lose those little nuts so i'm going to take those little nuts i like using frog tape something that has a long release time on it because you don't know when you're going to be reinstalling those lights i'm going to take that light
