Clean and Prepare the Stain

What happens here

After all sanding is complete, use a leaf blower to thoroughly remove all dust and debris from the deck surface. Once clean, prepare the oil-based stain. Since pigment can settle over time, it's crucial to stir the stain thoroughly before application. Use a drill with a mixer attachment for efficient mixing until the pigment is fully incorporated. After mixing, pour a manageable amount of the stain into a smaller bucket for easier application with a brush.
