Spraying stucco with Rain Refresh flat using a 311 tip at 1800 PSI. No over spray here.
What happens here
After the painting is complete and the paint has dried sufficiently to be dry to the touch, the painter is shown carefully peeling away the brown masking paper from around a window or door frame. This action reveals the clean, painted edge of the soffit or wall adjacent to the previously protected surface, demonstrating the effectiveness of the masking. The masking paper appears to have been applied with painter's tape to secure it to the edges.
Goal: Uncover painted and protected surfaces to reveal clean lines.
Tools and materials
- Masking Paper — Used to protect areas not to be painted from overspray
- Painter's Tape — Used to secure masking paper and create clean, sharp edges between painted and unpainted surfaces
- Utility Knife — To score paint lines if the paint is dry, to prevent tearing or peeling of the paint during tape removal
