What happens here
After all painting and touch-ups are complete and the paint is dry to the touch, it's time to clean up. Start by removing all masking paper, plastic sheeting, and painter's tape from windows, doors, and trim. Carefully pull the tape at a 45-degree angle to avoid pulling off fresh paint. Clean the paint sprayer thoroughly according to the manufacturer's instructions. This usually involves flushing the system with water (for latex paints) or appropriate cleaning solvents (for oil-based paints) until it runs clear. Store any leftover paint in sealed containers.
