welcome everybody how's it going um welcome to a thursday night live stream like josh just had so much fun yesterday i was on stoney ridge's live streams like comments awesome so i just wanted to you know gotta do the same what up what up badgers how you doing chris um we are just chilling man i am tired and i am tired of things not working correctly all right so we all know that plumbing is not always great right if anybody has ever done plumbing you just know sometimes things don't work and my motto these days especially since i'm really just helping people out and i'm not i'm not doing this as a business is that i just assume walk away for a little while like hey i'll fix this later right like that i have this mentality of it like i will leave this alone and come back um last week i was so done just done man i was so frazzled over a bathtub drain right i mean it was insane i can't even get explain four stores it took me four stores to finally find what i wanted in the color i wanted and to actually just work it blew my mind a but whatever man it is what it is um and i i just was done i like i said hey guys i gotta walk away i'll be back like i just wanna dig off i just gotta stop and like think about this and just walk away from it and come in with a fresh mind right because you're just mad about something like it's not gonna be good dude you're gonna huff and puff and just get angry and plumbing can do that it does that to a lot of people so if you're ever in that situation just walk away for a little while if it's not a life or death scenario which typically it's not right your toilet's broke well you could use a bucket to flush like it's better than being angry with it like because it's not really that hard it just can be frustrating sometimes things don't come apart things make you freak out and so then fast forward to last night i put together what i thought was a pretty decent video until i got up in the morning i usually get up a couple hours early and i will finish putting together usually the um the keywords and all that kind of stuff to a video right so it takes some time i'll put all that stuff together usually in the mornings and this morning it just didn't work out like i started looking at the video a little bit i'm like oh that's jacked up man like that doesn't look good at all like i was pretty tired when i was doing it last night i said ah you know what i'm just gonna not put this out i said i don't want to put out crap really if it's not gonna help somebody which it probably still would help somebody but honestly it just was a weird weird angles and different stuff i'm like you know what forget this man i jacked the sound all up and so i didn't put it out and it's just one of those frustrating things about youtube sometimes man is that things don't work out and then try to upload sometimes right you're trying to put these things out and man something that you think like it would take you know 25 minutes for a 15 minute video to upload but man sometimes it takes hours which is insane but once again it is what it is that's that's the nature of the beast that's what i've signed on for and i realize it more and more all the time right it's uh it's just what it is well there's a couple of us here how are you guys doing how you doing plague you uh you just chilling who else we got watching probably my wife she just took the kids to the park uh it's all good man we ain't got nothing going on well then it's good dude i don't mind um i just wanted to come in and chat with some people and say what up yeah yeah dude i you know i just i finished work a little while back as well and i just came and wanted to throw on some comfy clothes and kick it a little bit i'm gonna go cook dinner i think we're gonna have some breakfast for dinner which i'm pretty excited about i always enjoy cooking bacon i always love that smell of bacon dude um and that you know i've got a lot of videos to edit at this point like i've got a bunch of stuff i've been doing some things i haven't really had a chance to work on the truck or the boat or any of that stuff i've looked around a little bit for some crab pots um which that'll be nice to get i mean we're still a little ways out from crabbing season but i'll be excited to go out and get some crab it'll be fun it's going to be a good little time this boat i still got to find an electric motor a little trolling motor because they don't allow a lot of um there's a lot of lakes around here that don't allow you to freaking put gas motors on lakes right so um it is it is warming up around here dude i think it was uh almost 60 today and the sun's out the sun's shining it's nice supposed to be a nice couple days so nice in fact that um you know i took tomorrow off i said you know i'm just not gonna go man um logan fix it's been kind of freaking bombard me with the hey dad you need to stay home and we need to hang out for uh for for a few weeks now actually he's been just trying to get me to like stay home for an extra day like yeah dude why not man now is the time it is supposed to be pretty nice tomorrow we've got a couple of things i'm gonna try to get the truck registered to the boat the trailer um get some stuff done with the starting taxes you know all the all the fun stuff take all take a day off to do a bunch of fun stuff and hang out with the kids like that's the big thing right be there when they wake up and hang out in the morning and kick it and then it'll be just me and the kids tomorrow oh dude i your son's 22. i can't imagine dude it's already going by so fast for me like i can't even fathom what 22 was like dude having a kid that's 22. really um it just goes so i i know it goes fast um yeah and it's exciting too because i would want to be able to do things like you know throughout the years i mean you look back on all that stuff i think and you see like hey man i remember when we were wrestling when you were five and i remember we were doing this when you were 10 and like it just i'm excited for all that stuff right i don't want to miss any of it and that's one of those things that's one of the things i've really been loving about this job that i have is that you know i'm off at two o'clock every day man so in most days and some days i'll go and help somebody out afterwards or i'll go do some work or i'm working around the house afterwards for a couple hours but 5 30 comes and i'm usually sitting at the dinner table which that i love oh dude finally made a live stream joe rigby what up jerry keane how you doing man yeah i was trying to keep old logan fix it here for a little bit he um he's pretty talkative today he has a lot of things going on he's been out in the front yard uh we got a gravel driveway he's been out there collecting rocks he's uh he's been on a big crystal kick so oh what which lego badgers were just going over when i blasted him with a hockey puck on a lake no no that's that's awesome man i'd love to get out and do a little like ice skating on the pond we we actually have a rink down the street but i think it's closed man i think it's closed for the time being hopefully that stuff like things are starting to open up a little bit more so hopefully we'll be able to hook that up soon i'd like to get him out there and get him on some skates and just see how see how he likes it it'd be fun i am you know i was talking to my wife about this not so long ago so it's just a cool memory that i have back when i was in the air force i spent my first two years stationed in abilene texas and such a cool time right and my buddy the one the one that i got the free f-150 you know the one that was his truck me and him we used to go watch a lot of minor league hockey games all the time um down in abilene and we would go afterwards and they would do an open skate for like two bucks they'd rent you a pair of skates and let you skate for a couple hours and it was awesome man like i just had a great time all the time doing that like every time i loved it it was so much fun um you know so it's just nice to think about that and i was like oh man i need to get this kid out on some skates and you know they they have those little like pvc walkers that they make for kids and stuff and so it'd be fun to get him out on that and maybe a little mabel she might be into it too who knows man i mean she's still so young she's she's walking good but i ice skate i don't know if it would be her thing i had to get a little helmet for her too man because that girl she hits her head so much i'm a guarantee she gets so nice she's busted her head that's positive so man um you know i'm just trying to think of what else i've got going on work-wise man there's just been a lot of oh yeah dude well so we be you know what you say give my hockey sticks we have a i bought him a little hockey set with balls and we play in the house sometimes in the hallway and it's it's fun dude it's always a good time with him he loves it that soccer and i mean he needs to be on some he needs to be doing some more stuff right everything that logan does is kind of solo stuff right now unfortunately right the one couple cool things about whatever's going on right now right because the pandemic like a lot of things are closed down well the dude has he's been going to outdoor preschool right and so he just is always out in nature rain snow shine whatever dude they no holds like you gotta have good gear for your kids and he's got good gear and they're just outside like there's some days where i mean waterproof only lasts so long right no matter what it is some days the dude would come back looking like a drowned like he just has got soaked but he's loved it like he has really it's it's gave him a fondness for being outside um you know like a lot of us used to have we were kids right because i don't know man it's just a little bit different these days i you know i love that my parents let me go out and just run wild and say hey go do this and you're gone till dark but i don't know man like we i don't know why we just don't do that right you read on next door the freaking some stranger approached a kid like just down the street or you know something and i'm like i'm not dealing with that like that and our kids are still young i you know i'm sure i feel a lot different when he's 10 years old he wants to go on a little freaking goonies adventure right yeah it's actually a pretty cool um it's a pretty cool setup so much so that he's gonna go next year as well like so he's gonna go to kindergarten but i guess kindergarten here they only go so many days and i guess he gets wednesday's half days on wednesdays or something so we're just going to keep him out of school all day on wednesday and he's going to go back to that school for a one day a week like more of in a a bigger kid type class where they actually they go to a place they build tree forts um they're using knives they're building fires right this is all age six dude this is crazy to me but they've they've got it they've got a good chemistry with the kids they've got a good um practice behind it all so i mean it's it's cool man they you know they've taught him so many things and he comes home and teaches me things and i'm like man like talking about beaver moons and frog moons and you know he just he's got all this other knowledge that i've never had i'm like all right dude and that's another reason why i do youtube is it helps pay for that and swim he's been swimming a lot too that's that's good it's been fun um man i'm trying to think what else i got some other stuff coming up i've decided that i you know i'm gonna have to say no a little bit more when when people ask like emergency wise like i'm i'm happy to help one of my neighbors friends out right like actually i just had a friend yesterday crazy scenario and this was the video i was going to put out is that he wanted to have a dishwasher installed from home depot he got the dishwasher was going to install it and it just um they said they wouldn't install it because there's not an angle stop underneath the sink right there is a shutoff valve but it's on a pex manifold and it's in the closet but they wouldn't do it like they absolutely said nope sorry that's a liability issue we're not taking so it said okay well so he called me he's like hey brian you ever heard of this i said yeah it no problem dude i'll come over tomorrow i'll cut a valve in for you so i just went over real quick did a little chop chop for him put it together and it worked out pretty sweet um and that was what my video was going to be but then of course that jacked up the editing and i checked up the sound and just it's like i'm not putting out crap man i'll i'll put it out maybe tomorrow we'll see i won't even have it i think it's still downloading at this point it's so stinking slow man um oh and i love it now my wife is out here and she reminds me that logan fix it also wants you to want to remind you that he loves legos too well of course he loves this kid man lego building machine right if he could have a set of legos every single day a new set he would build i it's just he's awesome that way like he is ready to build um we built a lot of legos during the pandemic um we've had some cool stuff man my wife's sister sent us a bunch of like lego kits that you could build out of legos that you have and he built all kinds of cool little legos like dogs and owls and uh sheep yeah just cool stuff man it's fun um i always enjoy legos they're they've i've enjoyed them since i was a kid right so just cool thing i don't mind getting into it but i'm going to tell you it's a pricey thing right like you start buying legos in the store man you're good you're gonna be crazy oh what up who's your helpers so that's something else that's coming out that i'm actually really excited about um so jason over at hoosier helpers i mean i know there's only eight of us in here but like guys you want to check out somebody that's doing cool stuff too um you know jason bought a tractor and like him and his family and they're just helping people and they're they're hooking things up for people and it's awesome hey he does a lot of volunteer work he's like getting in with non-profits and just helping out where he can and i think that's awesome dude i am really i'm really into it as well and so he just is doing good things well he had a couple of issues so he wrote me a little while back and said hey man um you know you want to do a collab video and i'll show you my issues and then you can tell me how to fix them and then i'll shoot a video fixing them and we'll see how well it works and how easy it was and stuff for him so i'm starting to put that video stuff together and then i'll put it out and you guys i i hope you enjoy right it's just a good thing because i mean i get a lot of emails i get a lot of feedback from people asking questions and i've helped a lot of people just over facetime or whatever fix stuff like i don't mind i like it it's something that i enjoy doing and i mean that's the one of my whole reasons for doing this right it's just helping people and if i can do that and show doing it well then i like it i think it'd be fun i i hope that this might lead to doing more things like that right and just helping more people out i i love it so it'd be fun and we got a five dollar super chat from who's your helpers thank you so much that's awesome dude um i you know the other thing is i've been looking at this stuff and i don't know that i ever want to do it and i don't know what you do i've been meaning to ask stony ridge farmer about this stuff and like what do you are any of you guys channel members of any other of any channel or any of you guys channel members i just a question about that because i mean there's things about youtube that obviously i still have no clue about okay so you were so plague what do you what do you get out of that right i mean i know you're supporting your help supporting people making content which is awesome but so joe what it is is that like so other channels like i know study rich farmer i don't know what he offers as a channel member but like you get like little emoji cons next to your name whenever you're commenting on something and you're um getting early access to videos i think you're getting discounts on merchandise i mean is that am i correct in thinking that's what that is plague oh extra or private okay right on so private videos as well right like that's the thing man i don't even know it is like pay i think it is like a patreon thing right and i looked at patreon too man i just don't i feel like it's so overwhelming to do more it just like too much way too much for me um okay so that's good it's good to understand that because like i just seen a you know another person i'm subscribed to is like hey he's got a hat club and he's like giving discounts on hats and that's part of his thing he's a channel member well his channel's a little bit smaller than mine and he's already got members growing and going and i'm like oh man i don't know um you can do members only content type stuff as well yeah yeah yeah yeah i could i could i guess i could totally see some of those things but man i am just not a i don't know i guess i just haven't really thought about any of that dude yeah really not at all um so i have a question and i also need a favor crazy place to ask but joe since you're on here i broke one of my cups that you hooked me up with and i was wondering if i could get an extra one so joe my friend joe in here dude makes awesome pottery he's got into the kiln game man i know i know joe trust me it was a very hard i i i it happened a couple weeks ago and i've just been kind of dreading having to call you and tell you that oh man yeah it's a little bit of a bummer um you know i think you you get into the like little kid game it's hard it's hard to have nice things oh but i'm happy to send you some duckets for it too dude i would love to get you hooked up there because you you totally rock it out it's at least janae and the baby are going communal cup right oh oh janae oh i forgot about that janae said it was me and she dropped the jar of salsa oh it dropped on a jar of salsa i thought it would be better if you dropped that jar of salsa on it all right we were over here we were doing salsa shots all right people got a little wild all right well i don't know um i'm hoping to i got to get some ramps i got to get some ramps for the truck so i can get some fluids changed i want to get everything changed in the truck before i really do too much more with it i've kind of been holding out on some of that stuff just because i've had so many other things going on man and we've talked about it i just kind of said i'm i got to work on my own stuff for a little bit i got too many things rolling i've i've got a list i guess it's funny my wife's in here right i've got a list of stuff that is i mean it could be a mile long honestly at my house and you know my heart is such honestly i feel like it's and that and i think it distracts me a little bit more from my life and some chaos sometimes or the thoughts that i have to just get out and go help other people right because to be honest like you don't know how much of an amazing impact helping other people will have on your life it just really is it does something for me and i like it um there is definitely a bigger satisfaction for me going and helping somebody else do something than me doing it for myself but i know that i need to get out of that thought process because if i'm doing things around here i'm helping my wife out as well right and if i'm doing that well then she's happy i'm happy um yeah in it the the truck is running good now i just need to get i just need to get all that stuff i just need to get all that stuff hooked up dude um i just need to get all the fluids changed like it's just…
