Some folks have to learn fencing the hard way!

What happens here

Drive a Ventrac 4500Y tractor, equipped with a 6-foot finish mower deck, along the fence line. The mowing process involves driving the tractor as close as possible to the fence, blowing the cut grass away from the fence on the first pass. On the return pass, blow the grass towards the fence. This technique piles up grass clippings against the fence, which naturally suppresses weed growth. This eliminates the need for chemical herbicides (spraying) to maintain the fence line, as cattle will also graze any remaining accessible vegetation. The wide berth (6 to 12 feet) cleared from the forest edge during construction is crucial here, as it allows the Ventrac to easily maneuver and prevents tree limbs from falling and damaging the fence.

Goal: Efficiently clear and manage vegetation along the fence line.
