What happens here
This video details the unboxing, assembly, and initial testing of an EGO 2-stage cordless snow blower. The project involves unpacking the heavy machine, securing the handles, and performing a test run in deep snow to assess its performance in challenging winter conditions.

(5,490 characters)that's 20 inches all day long right there [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right you guys in today's video we're going to be taking an ego snow blower into the most brutal conditions i can possibly find and that includes 20 inches of nice fluffy light snow so let's just see how well this machine can do against this much snow all right seriously let's just see if we can stick this all right that's not going to happen i think i'd be better at this by now i've only stuck how many boxes but no one is perfect caution oh seriously you guys tell me you smell stuff like that come on that's our box our box of goodies has showed up our box of goodies has shown up okay i don't want to dangle let's get this out and then start reading stuff [Music] let's try to get the shoot so it's quits flopping i think it's gonna fall off let's try to secure it not permanently let's just get it at least secured box the buzz will wreck it the right way that's all the way get out of here back to the recycler exposed [Music] now it's time to stick vital things where they need to be stuck yeah this is about as complicated as it gets you stick these big ol fat screw heads handle grips onto four technically five bolts four in the handles this has also got a slide adjustment up and down if you look right here you can adjust whatever height you want for your handle so if you're a taller guy and you need it up raise it up that's not your gig well put it where you want don't matter because now these are carriage bolt heads so as you tighten them up they just snug right in you don't even you don't need to do anything you just need to tighten them up no tools necessary except for the tools god gave you right that can't get better than that everybody's asleep in the house and i'm trying to get this done before i wake everybody up so i got up got dressed real quick brought my son to school with my hat on bass backwards nothing wrong with that man some people are really i've heard him say this to me before dirt monkey you're always screwing up why should we ever watch you well would you want to watch i mean you think nobody else screws up would you really want to watch somebody that covers it up or would you rather love somebody that shares it laugh grows from your own mistakes and gets better at it i don't know to me i'll take that second person you can go watch the other perfect channels if you want i sure as heck has never been here and never will be but i get to be that egotistical 15 minutes later assembly is complete all right we got the batteries in let's just check a look at what we've got so we've got reverse low high speed so if i want to go high ready gracie here i come backward low speed forward so let's talk about this auger system now since we're running on battery we have a turbo button and then you go all the way down to eco mode now here's the deal some people are experiencing up to 45 minutes of runtime on equal on eco mode but in the same flip of the coin when you go all the way up to turbo they're also reporting 15 minutes of runtime that's the difference turbo mode really is just more for a burst of power to get through that slush at the end of a driveway or something and not for just running all day long all right so uh lights here we go we got lights on the front lights up top so the operator can see where he's working let's go let's take this backwards here oh looks like i got a cord bind in here so i probably have to get this cord mounted differently let's do that right now yeah i'd say they got a bit more snow we're up where i'm at up here than [Applause] down in the cities but let's just see what this is right here let's let's get a accurate measurement here would you guys call that safe enough to say 20 inches that's 20 inches all day long right there all right well i think what the game plan is going to be is since this is the path my wife put snowshoes on to try to crawl down to that red shed and this is where we drop our materials and supplies let's blow out as much of this area as we possibly can so that we don't have to trample through the snow so much down there to get it the rest of the stuff we need i think it's a little deep that's gosh so what we're finding is we got the solid layer on top and then it's really soft underneath and so then that's what we're spinning on so we got kind of a weird combination of snow we got a little bit of everything but i actually i want to get your take on that thing i want to see what you think of it kind of like a snow blower snorkel the only thing above the snow is the chute [Music] all right you guys that's gonna call it for today's video i got a lot more work to do look at there's the mini loader i gotta somehow get that unstuck my skid loader has got so much snow on top of it it's a job just to get to it but i think that's the reason why i came here in the first place was because we've got 20 plus inches of snow all through here everywhere you look and i wanted to see just exactly what this battery-powered snowblower could do if it could handle it or if it would just be too much for it so you guys tell me what you think after you've seen how well after you've seen this thing you know in the deep snow how well it handled it whether you like it dislike it or what you think of them that's all we got for you today hopefully you enjoyed these videos if you do hit that thumbs up it goes a long way and uh god bless go get em and we will see you guys on another one
