Apply Silicone Sealant to Siding Gaps

Puncture the inner seal of the tube. Load the silicone sealant tube into a caulk gun. Hold the caulk gun at a 45-degree angle to the surface and apply consistent pressure, moving smoothly along the horizontal siding gap. Aim for a continuous, even bead that fully covers the gap and adheres well to both surfaces. The video demonstrates this action on a horizontal joint of the siding, though the product shown is 'Big Stretch' (an acrylic urethane sealant), the technique for applying a bead is similar for silicone.
