Set Tile and Insert Remaining Clips

What happens here

Carefully place the back-buttered tile onto the notched thin-set mortar bed, aligning it with the previously set tiles and the initial leveling clips. Press the tile firmly into the mortar to ensure good contact. Immediately clean any excess mortar that squeezes out from the grout lines to maintain clean edges. Then, insert additional tile leveling clips (base pieces) into the remaining open grout lines around the newly set tile, preparing for the next adjacent tiles.
