Sawmilling An Old Log Reveals A Hidden Surprise!

What happens here

The presenter makes the first pass with the sawmill, cutting a large slab from the top of the log. This slab, containing bark and some sapwood, is removed and discarded (or saved for firewood). He then manually rotates the log on the bed using the cant hook to prepare a new face for the next cut.

Goal: Remove initial slabs and orient the log for further processing.
