What happens here

To maintain high temperatures within the sauna, proper insulation is vital. Fiberglass insulation, specifically 'Johns Manville R13', is installed between the wall studs and ceiling joists. Once the fiberglass insulation is in place, a layer of radiant barrier or reflective insulation is stapled over it. This reflective layer serves as a vapor barrier, preventing moisture from entering the wall cavities, and also helps to reflect heat back into the sauna space, improving efficiency.

Goal: Insulate the sauna for heat retention and moisture control
