Create Hinge Mortises

What happens here

Position a hinge on the edge of the assembled door frame to accurately mark its desired location. Using a router, carefully cut out the material within the marked area to create a mortise that matches the dimensions and depth of the hinge leaf. After routing, clean out any debris or excess material from the mortise to ensure a perfectly flush fit for the hinge.

Goal: Prepare the door frame for hinge installation by carefully routing out recesses (mortises) to ensure the hinges sit flush with the frame surface.
