ROOF DAY. #polebarn #construction

What happens here

Before installing the main metal panels, install the perimeter trim pieces, also known as flashing. This typically includes eave trim along the bottom edge, gable trim along the sloped sides, and possibly rake trim. These pieces provide a clean finish, protect the edges of the roof structure, and are crucial for directing water effectively. Secure these trim pieces to the purlins or fascia board using appropriate fasteners, such as self-tapping screws designed for metal roofing.

Goal: Protect roof edges and direct water flow with perimeter flashing.
