Roof And Ceiling Details! PHANTOM POST PROJECT Ep 5

What happens here

The ceiling material used is UFP-Edge Thermally Modified Natural wood panels. These panels are treated with heat and steam to remove sugars and resins, making them lighter, decay-resistant, and bug-resistant, suitable for exterior applications. The key feature is the tongue and groove design with end-matching, allowing for seams to be made between rafters, not just directly on them, simplifying installation. Install the panels by fitting the tongue of one board into the groove of the next, securing them to the ceiling joists. This creates a continuous, clean wooden ceiling look that extends to the edge of the overhang.

Goal: This step involves installing thermally modified tongue and groove wood panels for the patio ceiling, leveraging the product's end-matching feature for easier and cleaner installation.
