Removing oak grain before painting #aquacoat

What happens here

To begin, ensure you are wearing appropriate protective gloves. Take a small, flat plastic spreader or putty knife and scoop a moderate amount of the Aqua Coat White Cabinet Grain Filler onto the tool. Apply the filler directly to the dark-stained wood surface of the cabinet. Using firm, even pressure, spread the white gel filler across the wood, working it thoroughly into the open wood grain. The technique involves applying a generous layer first, then using the spreader to scrape off the excess, leaving the filler only in the grain pores. Continuously work the filler into the grain in the direction of the wood pattern. Repeat this process across all surfaces that require grain filling, including the flat panels and the edges of the cabinet, ensuring complete coverage and that all visible grain is adequately filled.
