Remove and replace a steel track the easy way Start to finish 3 hours!
What happens here
With the loader partially on the new track, connect a heavy chain from the front of the new track to the bucket of the skid steer. Use the skid steer to pull the new track forward, further engaging it with the loader's undercarriage. As the track is pulled, the loader can also be driven forward in short bursts to help guide the track into place. Use a breaker bar to help align and tap the track links as needed to ensure they properly seat onto the sprockets and idler wheels.
Goal: Fully install the new track onto the loader's undercarriage
