Quit lugging around concrete, waiting for it to dry, and waiting on inspections! #shorts

What happens here

This is the primary action demonstrated in the video. The compact track loader, fitted with a powerful hydraulic auger attachment, positions itself precisely over a marked pile location on the ground. A helical pile is then attached to the auger drive. The operator carefully controls the machine to screw the pile into the ground. The pile rotates, and its helical blades (the 'screws') cut into the soil, pulling the pile deeper. The process continues until the pile reaches the specified depth and achieves the required installation torque, which indicates adequate load-bearing capacity as determined by engineering specifications. The video shows multiple piles being installed in various locations around the property.

Goal: Install helical piles to their engineered depth and torque for load-bearing capacity.

Tools and materials

  • Auger Attachment — Providing the rotational force and downward pressure to screw the piles into the ground
  • Compact Track Loader Bobcat MT85 — Powering and manipulating the hydraulic auger attachment to drive the piles
  • GoliathTech Helical Piles GoliathTech — The core foundation elements being installed into the ground
  • Leveling Tool — Ensuring the pile is driven vertically and accurately according to the design
  • Torque Monitor
