What happens here

This video demonstrates how to quickly repair a PEX water pipe using a cinch clamp and tee fitting. First, gather the necessary materials, ensuring the cinch clamps and fittings match your PEX pipe type (A or B). Next, slide a cinch clamp onto the pipe and insert the pipe into the fitting. Crimp the clamp onto the fitting using channel locks until it clicks. The video also shows how to remove a cinch clamp by inserting a flathead screwdriver into the clamp's slot and twisting. Finally, it demonstrates reattaching the clamp and crimping it again.

If we've got some type A pecs, we've got some type B pecs, and we've got some braided polypipe. This is all half inch. If we take this off of here, this is a standard pecs B type fitting right here. No buying a specialty tool with these. You can just use a standard pair of channel locks. You just put it on, make sure that it's flush. With this crimps on there, it's actually gonna touch two places. There is a barb there, and a barb on this side. And if you hear that little click, you can see that it is on there. They are reusable. Get these fittings apart, just grab yourself a flat head screwdriver, stick it right down in that crap right there, and just twist. You can pop that ring back on, and then just go and take you here that click. And there we go. Been this enough, and I twist enough, will it actually pop apart?
