What happens here
Once the vertical lines are taped, proceed to apply painter's tape along all the horizontal grid lines. Ensure that the horizontal tape intersects cleanly with the vertical tape, forming perfect squares. Again, press the tape firmly to the wall along its entire length to secure it and prevent paint bleed.
