Prepping the trim to be hand brushed. Big Stretch is my go to here. #bigstretch #paintedtrim #paint
What happens here
Once the caulk gun is ready, begin applying a continuous and even bead of caulk along the seam where the baseboard meets the wall. Maintain steady pressure on the caulk gun trigger and move at a consistent speed to ensure a smooth, uniform line of caulk. Pay particular attention to corner joints and where different sections of baseboard meet, filling any small gaps visible. The video shows this action for both a straight section and a corner joint.
Goal: Fill the gaps between baseboards and the wall/floor with caulk.
