we are in Queens which is if it's not the most diverse borough of all five it is one of the most diverse places in this you in the country so we are very fortunate um we have not just a the density of the population that you saw coming from JFK just 10 minutes south of us all the way here uh where we are very fortunate to have a very diverse Workforce hard-working people such as ourselves uh very dedicated to our business yeah and so um just a little bit about the company itself too how many employees do you have working here manufacturing all these brushes and rollers uh so globally we have over 100 people uh we never look at numbers uh we tend to focus on the quality of the employees and when we get busy we tend to have people work a lot more over time but our business continues to grow we've been very fortunate um as you know we uh have vertically integrated uh in Mexico to produce some more commodity based item which is very different than our approach here and diversify our supply chain but as our business grows in the United States on the premium side we'll continue to add to that head count but we don't just hire anyone we take a lot of care a lot of training and we will work with people and have them come in six days a week and work overtime to ensure the stability of uh and consistency of the quality of our products I know just walking through and watching people you know um in quality control watching them manufacture the brushes and rollers it does seem like they all really take pride in what they're doing in here absolutely and when I'm not traveling I spend time on the factory floor all right I grew up in this business in high school and I think when I first started uh uh you know here in my mid-20s I unloaded trucks myself on on a hot and humid day so I really learned the business from the ground up and it's important for me to get out and be on the floor uh to say hello to the people to to know their names to to see what you know and see if there's any ongoing improvements that our business can make and and so I like to touch and feel and I take a tremendous amount of pride in our roller manufacturing as well as these paint brushes so it just gives me a great joy just to walk around the floor and see the success yeah absolutely
