What happens here
This final painting step involves using an angled paintbrush to carefully "cut in" along all the taped edges, applying paint precisely up to the tape line. The video provides a critical instruction: to "brush tape, do not roll against tape." This technique ensures that paint is applied to the tape's edge without being forced underneath, maintaining a clean line. Immediately after brushing these edges, a mini paint roller is used for "back roll to remove brush strokes." This action blends the brushed paint with the texture of the main rolled areas, creating a seamless and uniform finish while the paint is still wet.
