What happens here

This video provides a practical tip for residential contractors (electricians, HVAC, plumbers, etc.) on how to streamline the invoicing and payment collection process. The core advice is to send invoices digitally to customers' phones while still on site, allowing them to review and pay through an app before the contractor finishes cleaning up. This reduces awkwardness, speeds up payment, and aligns with workers' preferences to focus on their technical tasks rather than customer financial interactions.

So, if you're a residential contractor, plumbing, HVAC, electrician, whatever, and you have to deal with residential customers and collecting and invoicing, as you're cleaning up, when you're finishing your job, you can say to your customer, "Hey, Mr. Customer, uh, the office just notified me that they sent you the invoice. It's directly to your phone. Please take a look at it while I'm cleaning up. If you have any issues, let me know. Otherwise, you can just click to pay right on that app. I'll be right back. Cleaning up. This guys just takes away that awfulness of going up and handing someone a clipboard, okay, for thousands of dollars or whatever it could be, and you want them to write a check and you're there and they're looking at the invoice. Why not have it already on their phone so they can review it while you're in your van cleaning up? The guys that we send out to do work that work for us, one of the reasons why they work for us is because they don't want to deal with customers. They don't want the aggravation. They're not entrepreneurs. They're electricians. They want to do their work and they want to go home safely. So, it's always difficult to train them how to be polite, how to collect the right amount of money, not to be embarrassed. So, this is not a sales video. Please watch this video. This is just tips, father and son. We just did something together and I thought, let's share this with the rest of the electricians out
