What happens here

Begin by pouring a bag of polymeric sand directly onto the dry paver surface. Once poured, use a stiff-bristle push broom to start broadly spreading the sand across the area. The goal of this initial spread is to distribute the sand relatively evenly over the pavers, starting the process of getting it into the gaps between the stones and tiles.
