What happens here

Perform a second and final pass with the plate compactor across the entire paver surface to ensure all the newly applied and re-swept sand is fully settled and consolidated in the joints. After this final compaction, it is absolutely critical to remove *all* residual polymeric sand from the surface of the pavers. Use a fine-bristled broom, and if available, a leaf blower, to meticulously clean the paver tops. Any sand left on the surface will bond to the pavers when wet, creating a milky haze or permanent residue that is difficult to remove. The narrator emphasizes ensuring the sand rattles 'all the way to the very bottom' during this process.

Goal: Achieve maximum sand compaction and completely clean paver surfaces.

Tools and materials
