Poly sand vibes 🥰

What happens here

Once the paver surfaces are perfectly clean and the joints are filled, it's time to activate the polymeric sand. Using a garden hose fitted with a spray nozzle set to a fine mist or shower pattern, gently and thoroughly wet the entire area. Move slowly and evenly to ensure all the polymeric sand in the joints is saturated without washing it out. You should see the water penetrating the sand, but avoid creating puddles or runoff. The water will activate the polymers, causing the sand to harden and form a strong, durable bond within the paver joints.

Goal: Solidify the polymeric sand in the paver joints

Tools and materials

  • Garden Hose — Delivering water for activation
  • Spray Nozzle — Creating a fine mist or shower spray
  • Water Tap water — Activating the polymeric binders in the sand
