What happens here
On one of the assembled composite decking pieces that will form the bar top, measure and mark the desired location for an LED lighting channel. Use a measuring tape and a pencil to outline the path. Secure the composite board if necessary. Using an angle grinder, cut a small metal strip to act as a guide for the router or as an aesthetic inlay. Then, with a cordless router (specifically a Hercules Brushless model is shown), carefully rout a shallow channel into the composite decking following your markings. After routing, use a utility knife or a small pry bar/scraper to clean out any plastic shavings or debris from the channel, ensuring a smooth recess for the LED strip.
Goal: Create a channel for LED lighting in the bar top
