Strategic Hedgerow Design

What happens here

The video discusses the strategic layout of the food forest within the pastures. The goal is to create 'U-shaped' hedgerows along electric fence lines. This design provides natural and beneficial shade for cattle and creates bedding and food areas for wildlife (deer, rabbits, bears, etc.), fostering a holistic and regenerative land management system. The fence lines will protect young trees from cattle until they are established, after which the fences can be removed.

Goal: Plan and understand the strategic placement of hedgerows in pastures for multiple benefits.
