Lightly Sand Door

What happens here

The entire door surface is lightly sanded to create a smooth profile and provide proper adhesion for the new paint. An orbital sander with a 3x4-inch sanding pad is used for flat areas. For contoured sections and intricate designs, a flexible 1/2-inch sanding sponge (e.g., EKASILK PLUS fine grit) is utilized. Care is taken to avoid contact with any remaining unremovable hardware to prevent scratching.
