perfect space between pool and house
What happens here
With the pool and its initial concrete surround complete, proceed with preparing the base for the main patio areas. Install a geotextile fabric, then a layer of compacted gravel, followed by a screeded layer of bedding sand. Begin laying the chosen large-format pavers, ensuring they are level and tightly spaced. The video shows a main patio area with large gray pavers and a distinct border using darker, smaller pavers, some arranged in a herringbone pattern around the fire pit area. Cut pavers as needed to fit edges and around permanent structures. Once pavers are laid, spread and sweep jointing sand into the gaps.
Goal: Install the paver patio for the seating and dining areas.
