Install Van Camera

Perfect back up camera for big rigs, campers, trailer or boat
What happens here
After preparing the notch, the camera is mounted above the third brake light using stainless self-tapping screws. The camera's power cable is routed through the notched brake light housing into the van's interior. Inside the van, the wire is fed down through the upholstery and connected to the dome light's constant power source (identified using a multimeter). The red wire from the camera is connected to the positive (hot) wire of the dome light circuit, and the black wire to the negative (ground). This allows the camera to be powered on whenever the van's lights are on or manually switched on, rather than only when in reverse. All connections are sealed with silicone for weatherproofing.
Goal: Mount the camera and hardwire it to constant power for continuous monitoring.
