(5,996 characters)[Music] So, hey, we're here day three in National Hardware Show. I'm back in the Unpaint booth. I'm back here because this product is really cool. I absolutely love it. I get I get to actually demonstrate it now. And I'm going to apply some on here. I'm going to show you this product. Here's the sample drywall right here. Look, it just actually just peels right off. This is the product itself. Two coats. This is unpaint. Look, it actually just balls up. Can just throw it in a bag. It's biodegradable, compostable, and it actually leaves a negative carbon footprint. Look that up if you don't know what I'm talking about. That's kind of important also. So, I'm just going to apply it. You apply it two coats. I'm going to apply a coat right now. It's going to dry in about a half hour and then I'm going to apply another coat and then we're going to come back and peel this off today. Just like any other paint, I'd be rolling my walls. Just going to want to roll it on two coats. It's a two coat process that you do application and then whenever you feel like peeling it off, whenever you're done with this color, it's going to peel right off. You can see it actually over white a pretty vibrant peak over white, almost covered in one coat. So, it actually covers extremely well. Here's a sample on some floor. We'll show you how simple and easy it peels off. No residue, no color left behind. Even this drywall right here, the colorant, nothing's absorbing in. It's not leaving any residue behind. Pretty cool. So, we're going to let that dry about 30 minutes. Going to apply another coat and then we're going to come back today and see if it actually peels off. We're going to see if these are real samples or fake samples. The idea of this concept or or the product itself is that you're able to paint any kind of surface with the same technology of architectural paint, same coloring, same tinting machine, same bases, but we created a new product that has a new material inside it that is called GlassR. And Glass is the heart of our technology. It's a patented material that makes paint removable. It's biodegradable, compostable, and decarbonizes. So, it has all the cherries and sustainability on top. And something that people might be thinking, okay, I'm gonna peel some a piece of plastic off of off the wall. This is not plastic. This is biodegradable, compostable, right? So, you're able to compost it at home as well. [Music] We've got two coats of the unp paint put on there. It's not actually 100% dry, so we're going to really put it to the test. Now, I'm going to start to peel it off. Two coats multi-surface paint that just peels off. Look at this. And we're talking this is probably I think I'm back about an hour later. Two coats and it's just peeling right off my drywall. Look at that. So just think if this was my my kids were having a special birthday party or it was Easter or is Christmas. We wanted to have a red wall for Christmas, a green wall, something for Easter, something special for a birthday party. We just painted the accent wall. We decorated it. Now we're just going to peel it right off. This is absolutely incredible. Absolutely amazing. Look at that. Comes right off. No, no residue, nothing sticky. This isn't two coats. This is one coat. Say you wanted to just cover your melamine cabinets for something special. Look at this. It's just coming right off. One coat. Look at this. It'll just wipe right off. No colorant, no residue, nothing sticky, nothing tacky. It's actually probably in reality cleaning your dirty cabinets. could go right in the landfill. Okay, I know somebody's going to ask this. How much is it going to cost me for a gallon? Um, it's going to cost around $68.99. Well, that's not bad. It's not bad. It's in the lower upper side of paint, right? If they want a quart, how much is a court going to cost? Be like $24.99. Okay. It's it's it's not expensive. When you think about the cycle of painting, if you have a wall that is, let's say you get to an apartment, again, the example of of the rental unit, and you see a wall that is, I don't know, pink, and you hate the color, right? Of course. And then you how you going to change it? Prime it. Prime it and paint it. Okay. So, two gallons already or two quarts. Two quarts. Right. With unpaint, just put on paint on top of of of the paint color. That's it. It's something that simplifies paint. When when you think about changing colors of paint, you you think of the hassle that it is to change the color. Yeah. With this, we we say that peeling paint, like I'm painting, it's going to be as fun as painting. Yeah. Right. So, here's another question. I know somebody's going to ask, how far will a gallon go? 200 f feet. 200. So, it's kind of like it's two coats. 200 feet. So, it's 400 ft. Two coats it will be 200. So it's like a normal little bit less than a normal gallon of paint. So um so probably like 200 f feet one accent wall one gallon would probably do you know an average size accent wall. Well a quart will give you an access access to that. Cool. So it's a pretty a pretty cool product. I'm glad I like hiked like 10 miles to get over here an hour. Finally you got here. Yeah. My knees are like worn out. I need to have a surgery on my right knee now. But it's it was well worth the walk. So once again, it's unpaint. I love it. I think it's a great idea. I know I would use it if I can get my hands on it. So you got to check it out. How can we find it? Once again, you got a website or anything? Sure. You can go to a.co or glass.co and you're going to be able to find it in many of the big box retailers like Lowe's, Amazon, or other like Orgill. You can look it up on Google and you're gonna find all the information, all the technical specifications. If you're a painter and you want to try it on, just write us an email and we'll try to give you a sample. New technology right here on Paint Live TV. Unpaint out.
